At the end of the year 2000, circumstances lead a Costa Rican family to make one of the most important decisions of their lives. They were in the middle of the construction work of their house, but had to change plans and the idea to convert the house into a small hotel came out. Renovation began, and after a lot of hard work and study, the result was a very cozy atmosphere: The Hotel Poco a Poco. A hotel conveniently located just 10 minutesfrom one of the famous cloud forests of the world - the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.
