Being so close to the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve, visitors would do well to spend a good amount of time exploring its trails and suspension bridges. Within the confines of the forest, a large number of plants and animals can be seen, including monkeys, coatis, sloths and more. Horseback rides allow travelers to see more terrain, and zip-line tours are fast and exciting.
Constructed from beautiful wood and set amidst a lush tropical area, Casa Hira Rosa gives off a distinctly homey and cabin-like feel. The house is equipped with everything that one could need while staying in Monteverde – bedrooms, a bathroom, kitchen and living room.
There is a master bedroom with a queen size bed and writing desk. A bathroom with a hot water shower adjoins this room. Additionally, there are two other bedrooms. One of them has two twin size beds and the other has one single bed.
Guests of Casa Hira Rosa will enjoy relaxing in the house’s living room, which is stocked with two couches and large, expansive windows. Just beyond this is the front door and adjoining terrace, where guests can sit and enjoy the tropical environment.
A full kitchen makes it easy for guests to store and cook food at home. In total, the kitchen has a large refrigerator, sink, stove, oven and coffee maker. There is a breakfast bar and small table where meals can be enjoyed.
Casa Hira Rosa’s owners live on the same piece of property. They are happy to help guests with any concerns they may have, and will even prepare a traditional Costa Rican meal for guests upon request.
